Tonweya Lodge is a home based business providing custom made Native American regalia and ceremonial type clothing.  Established as Tonweya Lodge in 1990. Formerly known as Gary Russell’s Indian Art Studio.

Customers include collectors, reinactors, Boy Scout groups like Mic-O-Say and Order of the Arrow, individuals and artists.

ALL art items are created by Gary and Delma Russell. All of our art is created with top grade quality materals including, hides, furs, cloth and feathers.  We guarantee all our workmanship.

Since we only create custom made items, we maintain no inventory and require a minimum of 60 days lead time on all orders.

In order to see examples of our work, see our Products page.  These are items that were previously ordered and created for some of our customers. All pricing and other details are agreed upon before work begins. We require a 50% deposit (less tax and shipping) at the time an order is places.

For clothing items, we we require measurements in order to custom fit your order.  While it will be possible to order online, we prefer to talk to our customers by phone or in person (whenever possible) to ensure that we get a better feel of what our customers needs are.  The Bottom Line is Customer Satisfaction. That’s what has kept us in business for nearly 30 years.

While the majority of our items are plains style, we do occasionally get called upon to do regalia from other regions. So please ask if you have a special need we might be able to provide.  We prefer not to do museum copies.  Even though those ancient ancestors had no copyright laws to protect them, it feels like piracy to us. On the positive side, while the style and general look will be the same, your item will be an original. No two items are exactly alike.
